Hypersensitivity to oseltamivir phosphate or any component halotestin cycle of the formulation.
Chronic renal failure (permanent hemodialysis, chronic peritoneal dialysis, creatinine clearance £ 10 mL / min).
Pregnancy and lactation
In oseltamivir and the active metabolite of lactating rats get into the milk. Does excretion of oseltamivir or the active metabolite in human milk is unknown. However, the extrapolation of the data obtained in animals suggests that the number of breast milk may be 0.01 mg / day and 0.3 mg / day, respectively.
Currently, the use of these drugs in pregnant women is not enough to assess teratogenic or fetotoxic effects of oseltamivir phosphate.
With this in mind, Tamiflu should be used during pregnancy or lactation, only if the potential benefits from its use outweigh the potential risk to the fetus or infant.
Dosing and Administration
Tamiflu is taken orally, during a meal or without food. In some patients, tolerability is improved when it is taken with meals.
1. Gently tap your finger on the closed halotestin cycle bottle several times in order to distribute the powder on the bottom of the vial.
2. Measure 52 ml of water using the measuring cup (if applicable), filling it to the specified level.
3. Add all 52 ml of water in a bottle, a cap to close the well and shake for 15 seconds.
4. Remove the cap and insert the adapter into the neck of the bottle.
5. Tightly screw the bottle cap to ensure the correct location of the adapter.
It is recommended on the label of the bottle to write the date of the expiration date of the suspension was. Before use, the vial with the prepared suspension must be shaken. For dosing suspension dosing syringe supplied with labels indicating the dose levels of 30 mg, 45 mg and 60 mg (see. “Release form and packing”).
The standard dosing regimen
Treatment should start on the first or second day of the appearance of flu symptoms.
Adults and adolescents ≥ 12 years. The recommended dose regimen Tamiflu – one capsule of 75 mg 2 times a day orally for 5 days or 75 mg suspension of 2 times a day orally for 5 days. Increasing the dose of 150 mg / day did not lead to increased effect.
Children> 40 kg or ≥ 8 years , which are able to swallow capsules, may also be treated by taking one capsule of 75 mg 2 times a day, as an alternative to the recommended dose of Tamiflu suspension (cm. Below).
Patients with renal impairment
Treatment of influenza. Patients with creatinine halotestin cycle clearance 30 mL / min dose adjustment is required. In patients with a creatinine clearance of 10 to 30 ml / min Tamiflu dose should be reduced to 75 mg once a day for 5 days. Recommendations for dosage in patients on continuous hemodialysis or chronic peritoneal dialysis about end-stage chronic renal failure, and patients with creatinine clearance £ 10 mL / min are missing.
